The Story of Convive

Founded On A Simple Belief
Convive started in 2012 with the belief that coffee can be a catalyst for community; that the point of a great cup is who's across the table from it.
Convive means "to feast and drink, together." Fourteen years in, that looks like one roastery on Butler Street in Lawrenceville, four neighborhood cafes across the Pittsburgh area, and every single bag roasted by us.
Coffee-snob-level coffee, without the snobbery.

I love stopping by this local, independent coffee shop. The staff are always friendly and greet you right away, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment you walk in. You never have to wait long for help, and they're happy to answer questions or make recommendations. The coffee is consistently fresh and delicious, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve. Definitely one of my favorite local places for coffee.

Cute, relaxed atmosphere in a fresh, clean building. Baristas are skilled, personable, and often go the extra mile to engage on a personal level when they can. Espresso drinks and pour overs are consistently delicious. There's always enough seating inside but outdoor spaces to sit are also plentiful.
Service is very quick and my order is always correct. The baristas are always so nice as well!
I came in here the other day and realized I'd forgotten my wallet. There was a "pay it forward" wall where people had paid in advance for folks to get free drinks — I was so touched, and I had such a tasty cortado as the result of some kind stranger. Thank you stranger, thank you Convive.
